I Love These Girls! This is Kelsey & Ashlyn Larsen. I've know Kelsey since she was in the 2nd Grade (she's almost 21 now) and Ashlyn (her niece) I've known her whole life. I met Kelsey many years ago when I dated her brother Ryan (He was my high school sweetheart). Ryan and I broke up over 10 years ago but I have remained friends with him and his family. I have the up most respect for Kelsey & my heart just goes out for Ashlyn. Kelsey is 20 years old and going to school to be a nurse, she currently works in Labor & Delivery at the local hospital and is a wonderful Aunt to her niece and nephews. Ashlyn has the cutest personality and I love spending time with her, makes me want a girl even more! Without going into detail she doesn't get to have her Mom be with her right now, and that kills me because her Mom is missing out on so much and that time is something she can never get back. Ashlyn gets her wonderful Dad, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles but I feel so sad that she doesn't get to see her Mom. It made me realize how precious my time is with my boys and want to make sure to remind myself because I never want to take for granted those moments. The Larsen's has a special place in my heart I think of them as family (More so than some family memebers of mine) Holly (Mom) taught me a lesson that I think has changed me forever, she taught me it is better to give than it is to recieve, she is a very self less person and loves her famly more than anything and does anything for them, at the time I didn't think much of it but as I look back I realized how much she did/does for her family and their happiness. She showed me its not the money or the cost its the memories that will last forever, sadly I know someone who will never understand that. I will always be greatful for having the chance to know this family they changed me for the better they (along with my Mommy!) are a big impact on who I am today and I will never EVER forget that.

Man Is A Miracle Of His Own Making-Sean Johnsen

This is Sean Jonhsen. He and I go way back...I've known him since 2000 (Ish) we met through work, when I worked at Radio Shack he worked at another store down in SLC. I worked with a girl he liked. The girl and him never really worked out but we soon became great friends. He is SUCH an awesome person I don't even know where to begin....He use to drive a little green neon that said I'm 007 for the license plate. He had the best laugh and a personality to boot. Every memory I have of him is a great one. He use to have a ferret that would chase me! That thing was the devil!!! We would get together with our friends and have karaoke nights at his house, Hannah and I and him were always doing something stupid when we got together but it was always something FUN!!! He sadly died on April 4th 2006, so almost 3 years ago. (Car accident) He never had any kids (he was dating someone at the time he died). My friend called me and told me and I just burst into tears and still 3 years later I still miss him terribly. He was never someone I looked at more than just a friend but wow what an awesome friend he was. He's gone, gone forever it makes me sad but at least I have all my wonderful memories! One day I will see him again and man will we have ALOT to catch up on!!! I miss you Sean!!

Rings...

So we got Richard Wedding ring the other day, we figured we would order it early in case of any issues that came up and boy am I glad we did! They messed up the order and it took probably another 2 weeks to get the ring...totally not the stores fault though! Anywho...Funny thing...Here are our two rings....my ring can almost fit INSIDE of his! I wear a size 5 1/2 and he wears a size 13 and in the picture my ring is a size 6...I am getting it re sized before the wedding.... so I'm sure once we do get my ring re sized it will fit inside of his...kinda funny if you ask me!

So Avery had a WONDERFUL Birthday. He got to play with his Aunts and Uncles & Grandparents and Cousins, then we took him and got his pictures taken at the mall (A Tradition I do every year on his Birthday) then we went and got Ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa then he got to go eat dinner at Mcdonalds...talk about a lucky boy! Then afterwards he got to see the birthday gift Daddy & Mommy got him...New Transfomer bed sheets! He was in heaven! He LOVES them! I'm just so happy he's happy!

Wow I'm SHORT!

Ok the first picture has the wrong date the first picture was taken right before Avery turned 3..so 2 years ago...and the next picture was taken last night...look how much he has grown in 2 years! Holy crap he's going to be one tall kid! I'm going to take another picture again when he's 7 and see I'm think he will be about as tall as me! LOL Talk about odd! Trying to make your 7 year old what to do when your looking at him eye to eye!

Avery is 5!!!

Can you believe it? My Baby Boy is 5!!! It just seems like yesterday they were telling me ok it's time to push...I remember looking at Raquel and my Mom and saying I think they are serious!? I think it's really time! (They both gave me the ummm yeah duh look) 20 minutes later he was here! Now look at him! 5 Years ago and growing like a WEED! I'm so happy he is apart of our lives! Love ya Buddy!

Stryder!

So alot of people don't know we have a roommate, he's been living with us since June of last year. Mainly why people don't know is because when they come over he's usually asleep (he works graves). He and I went to High School many many years ago and has been Richard's friend for a long time and they have been roommates before. He's awesome with the kids and he's even warmed up to the animals! He's a great roommie & friend! Here are some pictures of him (he recently had a photo shoot done).

Awwww My Poor Baby!

So Avery has a habit of crying wolf to get out of things he doesn't want to do....IE cleaning up his toys....miraculous he has a headache and needs to go lay down....or he all the sudden has a stomach ache when its time for dinner and it's not something he loves to eat so the other day he told our roommate that it hurt when he went pee....and Stryder told us so we went and asked him why he didn't tell us and he responded with cause Stryder was there? And shrugged his shoulders like gosh Mom what's your deal? So we asked if it still hurt and he was like well sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't and then the next morning he said it didn't hurt anymore so I thought meh no biggie and went on my merry way but then I started to notice he was peeing the bed EVERY night and that's not like him at ALL and then he went to my Mom's and spend the night Saturday and she said they went bowling and about every 30 mins he was having to go pee which isn't like him at all either and suggested that I made an apt for him. So my plan was to make the apt on Monday and on Sunday Avery came in proudly from the bathroom Mom! There was blood in my pee....cool huh! Ummmmm no NOT cool! And I asked if it hurt when he went pee and he gave me that gosh yes mom answer but didn't seem to care that it did. So I called the doctor office first thing this morning and she had an apt at 6:40 that night......(thank goodnesss for long hour offices!) So we took him in and the doctor said that little boys who's never had a UTI before (if they get them they usually get them when they are a baby) the chances of getting one is 1 in 100,000! Talk about the odds! So she put him on some meds 2 a day for the next 10 days and we go back in to see what else to do because little boys just don't get them and so she wants to set him up an apt with a specialist as well to figure out why he got it....awww my poor baby!

5 years ago today I had my baby shower for Avery....I can't believe he's almost 5!!! It's just unreal to me! Unlike his brother this kid can grow some serious hair! My Mom came over today to cut his hair...Looks 10 times better! I'm sure she will back again to cut it in a month or so.......I wish my hair did the same!

Toby Has Hair...Finally!

Toby is almost 15 months old he has hair but not enough to actually comb is or style it or anything! I was playing with it the other night and realized I actually can do something with it, yes the mohawk is something EVERYONE is doing but its something! I love it, unlike Avery who at this age already had 3 hairs cuts I can finally do something with it!!!
