I have been working with the kids and their homework. This is Toby writing his name by himself! So proud!
This is one of the cool features that the IPhone 5 can do. I have the 4 and I would like to get the 5 but I want to wait until the bugs are worked out and after Christmas, mainly because I want to get the boys gifts before I fork out 100 dollars for a newer phone for myself. Someone made a comment to me that I was a drone for getting the IPhone. It bothered me. I am not a drone, I like the phone, it gives me the ability to listen to my music and does a lot of other fun tricks. Yes my husband has a the Galaxy 2 by Samsung and he likes it and I like using his phone too they operate pretty close. Just because I choose to use the IPhone doesn't make me a drone anymore so than you are a drone for using a different phone!

Today is my Dad's birthday. He's another year older! Here is a old picture of the family. I got baptized on this day. I don't remember the exact day but it was sometime in August 1988. It is hard to believe I am Avery's age in this picture, I remember this day like it was only a few years ago and now I have a kid that is this age? Crazy!

Progress! Here is the bathroom! Even if it's just baby steps, it's still moving in the right direction!
Since we have been working on the bathroom upstairs Richard and I have been using the shower downstairs. I lecture Avery to be careful when using the soap dispenser (picture above). I would remind him each time he got in the shower. While in the shower tonight I went to use the soap to wash my face. I swear I was careful when using this but the moment I touched it the dang thing fell off and broke into a million pieces! I was able to put it back together but still, here I am telling the 8 year old to be careful and I touch the dang thing and it breaks! Also you will notice how "level" it is, once again I am awesome with projects! Go me! On a side note, Avery hasn't broken it once or made it fall off but in this past week I have managed to do it 3 times! Good grief! Epic Fail? I say so!
When I came home from the gym I walked into our living room where she was sleeping (she hangs out with Dad while I go to the gym) to find her sleeping like this! So relaxed! I have a picture of myself doing the same thing, I want to copy both and do a comparison! Love this little girl!
