Things You Learn As A Mother

I Saw This Post On Another Blog And Just HAD To Post It...It's So Funny & So True!!!


Pregnancy: 1st child-You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as you find out for certain you are pregnant. 2nd child- you wear your regular clothes for as long as possible. 3rd child- your maternatiy clothes are your regular clothes!

Preparing for the birth: 1st child- You practice your breathing religiously. 2nd child- you don't bother because you remember it from the first time. 3rd child- You ask for an Epidural in your 8th month

The Layette: 1st child- You pre-wash all of baby's cloths, color coordinate them, fold them nicely and place then in the drawers. 2nd baby- You check to make sure the clothes are clean and discard only the ones with big stains. 3rd baby- girls can wear boy clothes right?

Worries: 1st child-at the first sign of distress, a whimper a frown..., you pick the baby up. 2nd child- You pick up the baby if their wails threaten to wake up the first born. 3rd child- You teach your 4 year old how to rewind the mechanical swing

The Binki: 1st child- If the binki falls on the floor you put it away until you can go home, wash it and boil it. 2nd child- When the binki falls on the floor you squirt it off with some juice from the baby's bottle. 3rd child- You wipe it off with your shirt and give it back to them.

Diapering: 1st child- You change the diaper every hour whether they need it or not. 2nd child- You change it every 2-3 hours as needed. 3rd child- You try to change the diaper before others start to complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

Activities: 1st child- You go to baby gymnastics, baby swing and baby story hour. 2nd child- you go to baby gymnastics. 3rd child- You take them to the supermarket and the drycleaner

Going Out: 1st child- The first time you go out and leave your child with a sitter you call at least 5 times to check on them. 2nd child- Before you leave the house you remember to leave a number where you can be reached. 3rd child- When you leave you instruct the sitter to call you ONLY if they see blood.

At Home: 1st child- You spend a good portion of each day just watching your baby. 2nd child- You spend a good bit of each day watching to make sure your older child isn't squeezing, hitting or poking the baby. 3rd child- You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children

Swallowing Coins: 1st child- You rush to the hospital and demand x rays. 2nd child- You carefully watch for the coin to pass. 3rd child- You deduct it from their allowance

Halloween Outfit For Toby!

So my wonderful soon to be Mother In Law Debbie brought me over some clothes for Toby cause the lil stinker is getting so big and little did I know in the heap of clothes was this CUTE CUTE Halloween outfit for Toby! I was all sorts of giddy when I saw it! We are still trying to figure out what Avery will be but here are some previews of Toby's outfit!
