{1} Did you live in the same town or move around a lot as a child?
I wasn't a military brat but I felt like it was. I was green (still am) with envy with kids who lived in the same house their whole lives. Seriously. I was born in California. When I was 18 months old we moved across the country to New Jersey. Lived there until I was 8 then we moved to Tennessee lived there for 18 months then moved to Utah then moved to a different part of Utah when I was 15. Yeah......I went to 4 different commentary's 3 different Jr High's and thankfully only 1 High school! I told Richard that I'm OK with the kids moving around until Avery hits Jr. High. The moment he hits Jr. High we will be there until he's out of high school, sounds dumb but it's true.
{2} What were your parents like?
Both of my parents are hard workers. They taught us how to work hard and to get things done correctly. The thing they didn't do is how to have fun. They sucked in that department, royally! They were strict, VERY....I was scared of my Mom....not always, just like I know I shouldn't do this cause If I did my Mom will kick my A** kind!
On a side note I do love my parents but I am jealous of people who are so close to their Moms. I envy my friend Lisa and her Mom's relationship. My Mom is just too busy.....................
{3} Do you have any siblings? What were they like growing up?
I have 1 brother, Ben who I was raised with. He just turned 28 (as of yesterday) however when my parents divorced both re-married but my Step Mom is the only one who has kids. So I gained 3 Step Sisters and a Step Brother. Julianne, Heather, Nate & Ashley. Then in 2007 I met my Birth Mother (I was adopted) and I gained 3 siblings Noah, Brian & Traci.
Ben and I fought like cats and dogs. But now that we are older I no longer wish that he would jump off a cliff. He's an idol to my boys and I can't wait to see him again (He's currently severing a year tour in Iraq)
{4} Share a short story from your childhood.
When we moved to Cache Valley (Utah) our driveway was a quarter of a mile long.....up hill.....so in the winter we would take our sleds down the hill to catch the bus every morning. Then on the weekends we would have the cousins come over and we would go down the hill and then my uncle would take us back up by dragging us behind his snowmobile. It was some of the best memories at that house. I loved that house!
